Susan Fox, founder of Balance Restored – Center for Integrative Medicine, received her M.S. degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Meiji College of Oriental Medicine in Berkeley, California. She is licensed in California and nationally as an acupuncturist and herbalist. Susan has led seminars on Traditional Oriental Medicine’s approach to diagnosis and treatment of a variety of health issues, including reproductive medicine (infertility, menopausal symptoms and other gynecological conditions), stress reduction, internal medicine and orthopedics.
Susan believes that is the patients’ right to have their health issues addressed in a cooperative and complementary manner. Toward that end, she works with M.D.’s of many specialties (Ob/Gyn, fertility specialists, nutritional medicine, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists neurology, orthopedic surgeons,), as well as chiropractors, physical therapists, and nutritionists, in addition to her colleagues at Balance Restored.
Susan is on the Board of Directors of RESOLVE Northern California, and is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, INCIID (International Council on Infertility Information Disseminations), Fertile Hope, the American Association of Oriental Medicine, and the California State Oriental Medical Association where she served on the Board of Directors, as well as other socially conscious organizations, including rainforest and indigenous culture preservation
